Academic journals are integral to an academic life not because they fetch scores for career promotion, which is a popular but understandable misconception. Rather, in this mad, rushed, and forgetful world learned journals are still one of the few ways for debates to unravel over time, and disagreements to foster for a better understanding of that world. So are collections of essays. I have published in journals and collections that cover a varied areas of expertise: cinema, social science, literary humanities, and psychoanalysis. They are here.
